Privacy Policy
Effective May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bryan Dennstedt ("Bryan," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit bry.net (the "Site") or contact us through it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, the fractional CTO inquiry form, or the newsletter sign-up, we collect the details you choose to provide. These are typically your name, email address, company, and the message you write. The newsletter form collects only your email address.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security and to keep the Site running reliably.
We also use analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are popular, general traffic sources, and page performance, so we can improve it. We do not use advertising networks, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.
Cookies and local storage
We keep cookie use to a minimum. Our analytics may store a randomly generated identifier, via a cookie or your browser's local storage, to measure visits in aggregate; it contains no personal information. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss potential work.
- To send you the newsletter, if you signed up for it.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Site, including a third-party email delivery service that routes form and newsletter submissions to us, third-party hosting infrastructure that serves the Site, and analytics providers that help us measure Site usage. These providers process data only to provide their services to us. Submissions arrive in our email inbox. We do not maintain a separate marketing database of Site visitors.
Third-party content
Some pages embed content from third parties, such as podcast
episodes and YouTube videos. YouTube is embedded using its
privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie) mode. When you interact
with embedded players or follow links to external sites (LinkedIn,
Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and similar), those services' own privacy
policies apply.
Data retention
We keep the messages you send us for as long as needed to respond and to maintain ordinary business records, then delete them when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA. To make a request, email aiwithbry@bry.net.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
