These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of bry.net (the "Site"), operated by Bryan Dennstedt ("Bryan," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Using the Site

You may view and share the Site's content for your own personal and business reference. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect content or data except as permitted by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  • Misrepresent your identity or submit false information through our forms.

Not professional advice, and no engagement

The content on this Site, including blog posts, podcast episodes, and service descriptions, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not professional, legal, financial, or technical advice, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for advice tailored to your situation.

Browsing the Site, reading our content, or submitting a form does not create a consulting, advisory, fractional-CTO, or client relationship. Any engagement begins only under a separate, signed written agreement that sets out its own scope and terms.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the content, design, text, graphics, and logos on the Site are owned by Bryan Dennstedt or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Text messaging program terms

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from us, the following terms apply.

  • Program description. We send two kinds of text message. Service messages include replies to your inquiry, scheduling and appointment confirmations, and updates related to work we are doing together. Marketing messages include our newsletter, announcements, event invitations, and occasional offers.
  • Consent. We text you only after you give us your express consent, and we obtain your express written consent before sending marketing messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving any service.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Charges come from your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.
  • Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving further messages. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out.
  • Getting help. Reply HELP to any message, email aiwithbry@bry.net, or call (704) 769-9779.
  • Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and your device.
  • Privacy. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

Third-party links and content

The Site links to and embeds third-party content and services (for example, YouTube, podcast platforms, and social networks). We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bryan Dennstedt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
